The prophet Ezekiel is one of the most important prophets of Israel; he is the Prophet that sees the 3rd and last New Temple in Jerusalem, and with his description have given hope to the jews all over the world.
But Ezekiel in fact is very important in our present day, for the Biggest and most important Prophecy of the all Bible, for Jews and Christians alike; the regatharing of the Hose of Judah and the House of Israel and the unity of them into a ONE UNITED and strong Jewish Nation. Even if in our eyes today, this unity seem impossible, nevertheless it has been prophesied decade ago, and all the prophecies of Ezekiel until now, have come to pass.
The end times scholars for years have been watching the prophecies taking place, and many are rushing and running around the prophetic Book of Ezekiel, considering that since Israel and the Jews are back into the promise Land, Ezekiel 37,15 is fulfilled, jumping immediatly already into Ezekiel 38 and 39.
A deep look at this very important Prophecy however, clearly show that Ezekiel 37,15 not only is not yet fulfilled, but it's a prophecy in progress, just at the beginning. We have all seen the dry bones coming back to life, and even once Israel was born in ONE DAY, we know that when we are new born, we are just little, and we need time to grow. And the TIME it takes for this newborn Nation, is the goal of this post.
The fact that Israel is reborn, that 8 millions jews are back in the promised Land, that there is a Jewish Government etc..etc..it's not enough; what we should ask ourselves is: is Israel really ONE UNITED STRONG Nation? The answer is no! In order to believe that Ezekiel 37,15 is fulfilled, we must see what the Prophet feretold:
One Nation Under One King
The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, ‘Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.’ Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, ‘Belonging to Joseph (that is, to Ephraim) and all the Israelites associated with him.’ Join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand.
When your people ask you, ‘Won’t you tell us what you mean by this? say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph—which is in Ephraim’s hand—and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah’s stick. I will make them into a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.’ Hold before their eyes the sticks you have written on and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees. They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever. My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. Then the nations will know that I the Lord make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever. Ezekiel 37,15
But most of all what we see is this internal dislike between two very clear factions: the so called "settlers of Judea and Samaria, and the rest of the Jews in Israel; they are sold to the international arena to the best offer, sold like trash, something to be ashamed of, and even included in the partition of the enemy, given away like we thrown away garbage. If there was to be a partition of the land, Israel would not care less where the settlers would be; it's like if they can be "Sacrificed" for the survival of the other half. This is unfortunately the sad and naked truth! But God is going to work once again, one of His wonderful Miracles!
The reasons and the fact are very clear: one part of Israel it's ok, it's legally settled in the land, it thrives; but the other half is almost forgotten, their voice never heard, their needs never meet. Why? Isn't God's will to make ONE AND UNITED JEWISH NATION OUT OF THE TWO FACTIONS? Of course it is! It is absolutely in God's will to fulfill this prophecy, but there is "a Time" for it, and man time is not God's timing!
Many scholars think that this Ezekiel little part of the 37 chapter is already done, but this is not the reality; in fact Israel is yes a Nation, is yes made mostly of jews from all over the world, is yes alive and doing well, but there is one thing that is not yet: a STRONG UNITED JEWISH NATION.
Between Ezekiel 37 and 37,15 and between 37,15 and 38 there is God's timing; how long is God's timing? It has taken 65 years to walk from Ezekiel 37 to Ezekiel 37,15; and now we do not know yet how long it will take to fulfill just about 15 lines of Prophecy, but in God's timing it can take years.
According to the recent fact and events in Israel, for the very first time during the last elections in 2014, some politicians took a step never taken before; to go and look for votes in the Judea and Samaria areas, and ask the "settler jews" that before were excluded from their personal interest, to vote and give their vote to avoid the elections, to turn positive for the arab population. Why is that? Why now all suddenly their vote was important? And did they really care now that all seemed lost? Why looking for your brothers only when you are in trubles, Israel?
God has a very unique way to gather His beloved people, as He had a very unique way to bring Salvation; in both cases God really impressed His people and did unbelievable things never heard before. But now, how it can be that, between themselves the jewish people dislike each other so much? And how is God going to make them like each other again, and make them look at each other with eyes of compassion, as flesh of their own flesh?
It' is not easy to say how long it will take this process of UNITY between the House of Judah and the House of Israel, separated since the Kingdom of Solomon reign, over the Kingdom of Israel; but one thing is sure. The process on UNITY INTO ONE STRONG JEWISH NATION is started only 65 year of the miraculuous rebirth of the Jewish Nation, and it will need time to be fulfilled; it could take approx 5 to 10 years from now, or maybe more. Things are speeding up quickly and the world is going faster! This is difficult to say right now. But one thing is for sure; the prophecy of Ezekiel 37,15 it's only at the Beginning and we know that God's timing does not coincide with man timing, and many times if we do not look deep into man activities, we lose parts and facts, without even notice it!
Before we can go any near Ezekiel 38, we must see into place, the most important Prophecy fulfillment of modern History, and this is ONE STRONG AND UNITED JEWISH NATION!
Until this happend, there is no point on going into Ezekiel 38, when the war of Gog and Magog get's deep into full action, risking to wipe out, what is now a complete separated and fragile, divided society. Like divided is right now the land of Israel. God in His wisdom, will found a way to UNITE and make a STRONG NATION, to prepare the Jewish people for the terrible and Final war of God and Magog. In fact if Gog and Magog was to happen right now, Israel would not resist and could be wiped out in few days, of the map of the living. But God knows how to bring a people together, after decades of division.
It's useful to keep an eye on what is happening right now in the Jewish Nation; things are unfolding quickly but clearly, and we can see and read this division taking place inside the jewish society, while some steps are made to find a solution, including all jews together. There have been calls of UNITY in recent days, and words of cooperation, with some steps back; but surely we are going to see more and more steps, that will fulfill what God Almighty has already decreed; the birth of a STRONG AND UNITED JEWISH NATION, made by the two Historical Houses of the Kingdom of Israel; Judah and Israel.
Once we see this STRONG AND UNITED JEWISH NATION, we will know that Ezekiel 38 is not too far; in fact there is no contradiction that one part of a Prophecy is in progress, while the second part is already preparing. And this is exactly the case for Ezekiel 37,15. Its' Prophecy in progess, waiting only to be fulfilled! And what a prophecy!
