Joel's trumpet..

Yom Teruah, the day of the blow of the trumpets.

Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My Holy mountain: let all the inhabitans of the land tremble: for the "Day of the Lord" cometh, for it is night at hand. Joel 2,1

Blow the trumpet in Zion, santify a fast, call a solemn assembly. Joel 2,15

The feast of the trumpets is one of the most important feast for the people of Israel; its one of the most important of the ancient feast of the Jewish people, since the First Temple. The priest had the duty to blow the trumpets to gather the all congregation of Israel.

The trumpet however are not only for Israel and for the Jewish people, but also for the Nations: "I will also gather all Nations and i will bring them down, into the valley of Josaphat, and i will plead with them there, for my people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. Joel 3

Moltitudes and moltitudes, in the "valley of decision": for the "day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. Joel 's trumpet is a double side sign; it's a sign for the Jews and a sign for the Nations.

Since the wondering of Israel in the desert, God comanded Moses to celebrate on a fix day of the year, the feast of the trumpet, in preparation for the "day of the Messiah". Leviticus 23,25

All the comands given to Moses were the preparation of the "last days" in order to have a clear sign of the things to come, for the future generations. The blow of the trumpet was the sign for many other occasions: Nemiah had a trumpet in his hands, while rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem...

The blow of the trumpet was used for many other reasons:
1) to gather the assembly
2) has a warning for danger
3) to assembly the troops for the battle
4) to declare the victory

The trumpet were blow since the First Temple of Jerusalem, they are blown today and will be blow until the "day of the Messiah" comes. The Torah can give pleanty of quotes on the blow of the trumpet.

But the trumpets are an important instrument also for Christians, that are very familiars with it; and the Holy Scripture tell us a mystery: "behold, i shew you a mystery. We should all not sleep, but we wil be changed; in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, at the "last trump" for the trumpet shal sound, the dead shall raised incorruptible, and we shal be changed. 1 Cor 15,51

The sound of the trumpet was designed by God, looking at the "day of the Messiah", also known has the "last days" or "end days". For Christians the blow of the trumpets are the most important sign of the return of the Messiah, just like for the Jews is a sign of assembly, and also the end of the mystery concerning life after death. Finally we all know that the trumpets will blow to gather not only all the jewish people, but all people of the all Nations, according to the word of the prophet Isaia.

And in this mountain shall the lord of Host make unto all people a fest of fat things, a feast of wime on the lees, of fat full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. Isaiah 25,6

From the  Temple of Jerusalem where the trumpet were blowned to gather the jewish people, in the same mountain the Lord will make a feast for the all people of the Nations, using the same trumpets. This is also a mystery unveiled in our times....

The prophet Isaiah quotes: "In this mountain the Lord of Hosts will make unto all people a feast of fat things, a fest of wine on the lees. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread all over the Nations. Isaiah 25, 6

There are two words used by the prophet Isaiah that we should pay attention to: veil and covering, two things that have prevented the jews to see the nations included in their people, and on the other hand, the covering cast over the all nations, that do not see becouse of the veil, the priority of the jewish people to the Revelation of the Messiah.

The Messiah comes for the Jews first, but it was revealed that He comes also for the all Nations; and with these eyes we should see the "feast of the trumpet". The trumpet will sound for everybody, and we all should make sure we are ready when Messiah comes!
